About the Victim Support Unit
The Victim Support Unit provides comprehensive, confidential support to students who have experienced any form of harm, violence, or trauma. Our trained staff offers compassionate assistance and connects students with appropriate resources and services.
Services Provided
- Crisis intervention and immediate support
- Emotional and psychological counseling
- Safety planning and risk assessment
- Referrals to medical and legal services
- Academic accommodations and support
- Advocacy and accompaniment
- Follow-up care and ongoing support
Who Can Access Support
The Victim Support Unit is available to any student who has experienced:
- Sexual or gender-based violence
- Physical assault or threats
- Harassment or bullying
- Discrimination or hate incidents
- Any other form of harm or trauma
